ESCA studio restaurant’s chef/owner, Gábor Fehér, spent several years in reputable Hungarian restaurants, collected experience in Denmark and then graduated in Paris’ famous culinary school Le Cordon Bleu. Afterwards he came back to Budapest and launched his remarkable, small, but intimate restaurant in the heart of the city.

Our restaurant situated in Dohány street - in the middle of the jewish-quarter - up to 16 persons. Besides nordic style meals, ESCA also represents Scandinavian impact on its interior design.

Our kitchen offers a 5 course seasonal tasting menu and a la carte option. There is no difference between starters and main courses on our a la carte menu, therefore we recommend you to choose 4 courses for dinner at least.

We present over 60 different wines from Hungary’s greatest viticultural regions and we also offer an international selection of champagnes and fine digestives.
